Insults were flying on Twitter on Thursday night as President Trump, his son Donald Jr. and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez all jibed with one another.

The President ended up calling AOC a ‘wack job’, while she quickly responded declaring Trump to be ‘a criminal who betrays our country’.

Trump retweeted his son Donald Jr. who said the woman was a typical AOC supporter

‘We only have a few months left!’ the woman could be heard saying. ‘A Swedish professor is saying you know, eat dead people but that’s not fast enough. So I think your next campaign slogan has to be this: We Got To Start Eating Babies.’

‘We got to start eating babies! We don’t have enough time! … We have to get rid of the babies! … We need to eat the babies!’ she ranted.

It’s not clear if the woman was mentally ill or if her rant was some kind of stunt but either way, Donald Trump Jr. retweeted the clip saying, ‘Seems like a normal AOC supporter to me.’

President Trump then retweeted his son’s message commenting: ‘AOC is a Wack Job!’

Ocasio-Cortez clapped back minutes later: ‘Better than being a criminal who betrays our country,’ she wrote.

Not one to miss an opportunity despite temporarily suspending his campaign for health reasons in recent days, Senator Bernie Sanders wrote: ‘It’s going to be a real pleasure defeating you,’ in response to President Trump’s ‘wack job’ tweet.

Later, Ocasio-Cortez showed concern for the sudden outburst by one of her audience members tweeting: ‘Hey everyone! We had a fabulous town hall tonight & I’ll be highlighting some moments from it. At one point I was concerned there was a woman in crisis & want to ensure we treat the situation compassionately. Let’s not mock or make a spectacle. &let’s work on Medicare for All!’

‘This person may have been suffering from a mental condition and it’s not okay that the right-wing is mocking her and potentially make her condition or crisis worse,’ Ocasio-Cortez continued. ‘Be a decent human being and knock it off.’
